You’ll work across Cisco network infrastructure, contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives, and support a critical environment that underpins major government operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Level 3 network support, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network hardware and software.
- Collaborate with end-users to resolve networking issues efficiently and professionally.
- Perform routine maintenance such as updates, patches, and system upgrades.
- Identify opportunities to enhance network performance, stability, and processes.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including policies, procedures, and support guides.
- Work closely with team members, clients, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure reliable network services and continuous improvement.
- Active NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory).
- Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent; ITIL highly regarded.
- Hands-on experience configuring and managing Cisco routers, switches, firewalls.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, NAT.
- Experience with WAPs, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and SDA.
- Exposure to Palo Alto firewalls and Microsoft Azure networking technologies.
- Strong documentation skills across policies, procedures, and technical guides.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and IT service management practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a willingness to share knowledge.
- Ability to work onsite and participate in an on-call roster, including occasional weekend work
