About the Role
This is not a traditional sales position.
As a Strategic Pursuit Lead, you will be responsible for creating, shaping, and converting complex opportunities before procurement formally begins. You will engage senior government stakeholders to define problems, influence direction, and position DXC as a trusted advisor.
This role focuses on high-value opportunity creation and strategic influence, rather than reactive tender responses.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and create strategic opportunities across Federal Government accounts
- Shape and lead complex pursuits valued at $5M+USD
- Engage with senior stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CDO, SES) to influence strategy early
- Develop win strategies, commercial models, and solution positioning
- Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline aligned to growth priorities
- Collaborate across sales, consulting, delivery, and partner teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Position DXC as a trusted transformation partner
- Creation and progression of a strong, high-value pipeline
- Demonstrated early-stage deal shaping activity across priority accounts
- Contribution to revenue growth and strategic signings
- Strong internal collaboration across account and delivery teams
- Visible impact through strategic influence, not just execution
- Proven experience in enterprise sales, consulting, or systems integration environments
- Track record of shaping complex deals ($5M+), not just responding to RFPs/RFQs
- Strong executive engagement skills and commercial acumen
- Experience working within large, matrixed organisations
- Ability to influence and lead without direct authority
- Federal Government experience highly regarded
