An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Cyber GRC professional to join a rapidly growing Cyber & Technology advisory team within a high-performing consulting environment.
This team operates at the forefront of cybersecurity, partnering with organisations to solve complex challenges across cyber strategy, risk, privacy, incident response, and forensic technology. Known for their hands-on, pragmatic approach, the team works closely with clients to deliver real-world outcomes, particularly during high-pressure and crisis situations.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role leading Cyber Strategy and Risk engagements while mentoring junior consultants and contributing to the continued growth of the practice. This role combines delivery leadership, client engagement, and strategic advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver cyber strategy, risk, and governance engagements end-to-end
- Mentor and develop junior team members to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives
- Identify and assess gaps in cyber resilience, maturity, and capability
- Design and implement practical remediation strategies and governance frameworks
- Conduct risk assessments and compliance reviews aligned to standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CPS 234, and ACSC Essential Eight
- Establish and enhance cyber risk management and compliance programs, including third-party risk oversight
- Deliver clear, executive-level reporting, presentations, and insights
- Strong experience in Cyber GRC or Risk and Strategy consulting/advisory
- Proven ability to mentor and lead junior team members
- Solid understanding of information security, privacy, and governance frameworks
- Hands-on experience across risk assessments, security awareness programs, and incident response simulations
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly regarded
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
