We’re partnering with a high-growth SaaS organisation supporting Defence-aligned environments to build out a modern, scalable security function. This is a rare opportunity to step into a hands-on GRC role where you’ll help shape how security operates in a fast-moving, regulated business.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in translating frameworks into practical, operational controls that support growth without slowing the business down.

Why this role matters
You’ll be at the centre of the organisation’s security uplift, turning standards like ISO27001, NIST, Essential Eight, and DISP into real, repeatable processes. Your work will directly impact audit readiness, customer trust, and the organisation’s ability to operate in Defence environments.

Key responsibilities
• Drive GRC uplift initiatives across ISO27001, NIST, Essential Eight, and DISP
• Manage compliance evidence and maintain audit readiness across the business
• Support external audits and accreditation activities
• Conduct control reviews and identify pragmatic uplift opportunities
• Build and maintain policies, standards, and SOPs to replace ad hoc processes
• Implement and manage third-party risk and vendor assurance processes
• Support customer security questionnaires and broader commercial enablement

What you’ll bring
• Australian Citizenship (required)
• 2–5 years’ experience across GRC, IT audit, or information security
• Hands-on experience with frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, Essential Eight, or DISP
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across both technical and business teams
• Ability to balance risk with business outcomes in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with tools such as Vanta, Drata, Jira, or Confluence is beneficial
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS) and modern identity platforms is a plus

Who you are
You’re someone who enjoys building structure where it doesn’t yet exist. You’re comfortable working in ambiguity, taking ownership, and translating theory into practical, scalable solutions.

Please note: due to the volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
