If you’re an experienced cyber security leader with deep government experience and current TSPV, this is one of the most consequential opportunities in the market.
You will operate as a senior cyber advisor supporting secure ICT delivery across government systems. This role blends architecture, assurance, policy uplift and hands-on-risk analysis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading reviews and contributing to the development of the full security documentation suite
- Providing authoritative advice on secure-by-design
principles and cyber best practice
- Reviewing ICT solution designs for alignment with the ISM
and Essential Eight
maturity requirements
- Guiding architecture and engineering teams to embed security controls into designs
- Conducting cyber security and risk assessments across complex services
- Updating and maintaining system security artefacts including:
- SRMPs
- SSPs & Annexes
- IRPs
- DRPs
- SRMPs
- Supporting system accreditation and IRAP-related documentation
- Experience in Australian Government cyber security or security architecture roles
- Demonstrated capability producing security artefacts for system authorisation
- Strong understanding of networking infrastructure and modern network security patterns
- Ability to analyse network architectures and assess cyber security risks
- Deep familiarity with ISM, PSPF, Essential Eight and government accreditation processes
