This is a client-facing role where you’ll act as a trusted advisor, driving security initiatives, shaping strategy, and ensuring strong delivery across multiple engagements.
The Role
You will take ownership of cyber security delivery, working closely with senior stakeholders to uplift security capability and drive continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for cyber security delivery and service improvement
- Lead security engineering and architecture discussions, translating outcomes into clear roadmaps
- Drive cyber security strategy, maturity uplift, and transformation programs
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering security services
- Oversee incident response coordination and risk management activities
- Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders and external vendors
- Identify opportunities to optimise and improve security service delivery
You bring a strong blend of technical depth and delivery leadership, with the ability to operate across both strategy and execution.
- 10+ years’ experience in IT, including 8+ years in cyber security
- Strong background in Security Architecture and Engineering
- Experience delivering to Essential 8 Maturity Level 2 (or similar)
- Solid knowledge of frameworks such as ISM, PSPF, ISO 27001, NIST or equivalent
- Proven experience leading cyber transformation or security uplift programs
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA or TOGAF are highly regarded
- Lead high-impact cyber security programs across complex environments
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and influence strategic outcomes
- Strong pipeline of transformation and uplift initiatives
- Collaborative and high-performing team environment
